Note: if you're looking for recent edits, go to the sidebar and look at the "recent activity" list. If you click the button that says "More activity,...." you should be able to find work that you have done.
My suggestion would be that you start with the Index page as a hub and create links out from that page to create new pages from there. That way they will be easier to find.
